Dear Fellow Investor,

I am extremely excited that we are again expanding the REI Short Sale service to include additional investors who are serious about building their pre-foreclosure businesses. Our service is designed to not only assist you in increasing your pre-foreclosure profits, but just as important, it helps you avoid virtually all the frustration involved in doing short sales. No matter what anyone says, short sales are not easy; and, if anyone can talk about learning the pre-foreclosure business the hard way... it is me.

When I was introduced to short sales I knew instantly that the pre-foreclosure market is where I needed to be to get rich in real estate. As I learned more and more about the trends in foreclosure, it seemed like a real no-brainer to me: the real estate market is declining and the foreclosure rate is rising, simple as that. I got even more excited as I met more and more of the everyday people that were closing deals and making the huge checks.

When I finally jumped in and began to apply the expensive
short sale education I had received, I got a very rude awakening.

The problem was that while I did a great job at filling a pipeline with deals initially, I found that my marketing suffered because I spent all my time creating legal paperwork, waiting on hold with the banks, following up on deals and fighting with fax machines. To top it off, I was getting calls from homeowners at all hours of the day wanting to know the status of their home. It seemed like "we are waiting on the bank" was just not a good enough answer for them. I watched property after property slip into foreclosure.

I was completely overwhelmed by the continual attention needed and the amount of unknown details needed to make a deal come to life. What I learned from boot camps and teleseminars ended up amounting to only small pieces of what I really needed, to make money in the pre-foreclosure industry. I found that it not only took specific knowledge I did not have, but that negotiating debt with the bank is a full-time job (and one that I didn't like).

After struggling to make any progress I decided to partner up with someone I met through our local REIA. We set up a deal which allowed me to stop having to worry about all of the administrative nightmares and start to focus more on building my business.

I kept bringing the deals to my "partner" in good faith that the deals were getting negotiated and just sat back and waited for the money to start rolling in. As time went on I got more and more concerned with the status of the deals. When the dust finally settled...
